Avenue Q marked the first show I ever did design for. Being that the show took place on an avenue, I wanted to play off the the real-world look of familiar signage. The poster is inspired by the classic look of street signs. The smaller ads mimic the look of well-known traffic signs, but with an individualized look to coincide with the show.
