2020: Year in Views
2020 was quite the rollercoaster of a year. While worldly events gave us more than enough content to write a depressing novel, I figured I’d focus on some of the bright spots from the year. Regardless of the state of the world, there was never a shortage of opportunities to enjoy the view. The gallery below is a collection of the (surprisingly) numerous and diverse sights that I was able to see throughout the year.
Life highlights (to accompany the photos) include:
Drove across the country. Twice! (first from Atlanta to LA, and then from Costa Mesa to Philly)
Finally saw the Grand Canyon
While Volta was in LA, I worked in the Merchandise department. One night I got to sell some merch to Angelina Jolie.
Took a girls trip to Las Vegas (first time visiting!), stayed at the Bellagio, and saw Spiegelworld’s Absinthe and Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere
Went to Disneyland (for the second year in a row, surprisingly) with some friends. We managed to squeeze in a day of fun just 2 days before Covid shutdown everything.
… a few adventurous nights with friends while quarantined in Orange County…
Squeezed in 2 (covid-approved) girls trips / reunions to visit Bushkill Falls and Sleepy Hollow
Here’s to a new year with new adventures and many memories (and photos).
