In the Fall of 2023 Bazzar made its U.S. tour debut in the Philadelphia area. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with this bazzar-ly talented group in wardrobe during the run in Oaks. As I had already made some city stickers for Volta, I decided to continue the tradition on this show.

Philadelphia

For this design, I wanted to incorporate the visual of a Philly icon. Luckily the name could be ‘shortened’ and still make sense, so I turned it into the LOVE statue.

Big Top

I already had the “classic” big top design so I figured it was time to add a little bit of customization. After making a second version of the modern big top designs I added in the Bazzar logo and matched the big top colors to those of the big top that was used for the U.S. tour.

U.S. Tour

The end of the U.S. tour came quicker than expected. I wanted to make something to commemorate Bazzar’s time in the States. The first design was my submission for the tour t-shirts. Since it wasn’t chosen, I decided to transition it into a sticker. The sticker sheet was a spinoff of the tour design to highlight each of the cities that were visited. The ice cream was just for fun. Before I crafted a decent idea for an individualized tour sticker, I thought this was a fun and quirky design (and it’s actually in the show!… if you can spot it). Rather than keeping the design as black and white, I added in all of the primary colors of the costumes to symbolize all the ‘flavors’ that make the show possible.
